Packing Woes

Does it ever end...I feel like I have endless amounts of "stuff". Do others feel this way. Is there any possible way this will all fit in the moving van.

Wish me luck. I can feel my anxiety level spiking.

coping...

As I start to disassemble my home, I am finally hit with the sadness of leaving this place. I have sort of dealt with the move, by not dealing with it. I have ignored the fact that we are leaving and that I am leaving family, good friends, St. George...home. I was driving the stake conference today and Jackson asked if we could come and say goodbye to the house once all of our things were taken out and I couldn't hold in the tears. My tender little boy wants to say goodbye to his home...the place that has always been his home. It is going to be really hard. I know excitement awaits us, but it won't make this move any easier. It will be hard.

So lets go on without talking about it. I have two weeks left here and I want to make the most of it. I will always leave a piece of my heart here. It is the home I brought my babies home to and really, the only home I have ever known.

and I really need to get packing. Yikes. I have taken things off the walls, and the upstairs won't take long. I think the kitchen will be the hardest.

We found an awesome house to rent in Ann Arbor. I am very excited. It has a finished basement and a place to put a studio, tons of storage, a two car garage, a HUGE, fenced backyard with playground equipment and a raised garden. The school is only two blocks away and the bus stop that takes D directly to school is just down the street. And the shopping...too bad we will be on such a tight budget, because the shopping is awesome. Short of a Nordstrom, the mall there has every store I could hope for.

So, start planning to come visit. We will have plenty of space and there are lots of fun things to do and see!!

And, we sold our house, which is a major blessing.
