I haven't felt much like writing lately. I have been tired and lazy and busy with a bunch of other projects. I finished the quilt top for JAckson's room and I am 3/4 way through his curtains. I had such a bad experience painting his room that I have avoided finishing it for the last six months. Now it is time. I guess I feel that before I get started on Christmas projects, I have to finish all of the other projects that I have half way done. I have also been busy with photography stuff and that has consumed my evenings.
I have had allergies and I wonder is that contributes to my tiredness a little. I am taking allergy pills everyday and sneezing a lot. YUCK. I woke up this morning at 6am sneezing, itchy throat etc. I came down stairs and watched some Arrested Development until the allergy pill kicked in and I was able to go back to sleep. We slept until 9am. As nice as that was, it sort of threw a wrench in my daily plans. I like to be home from the gym by then. I guess I will just go walking this afternoon or biking. We will see. I am still tired so I don't feel like doing much.
Jackson is whiney this morning. I am trying to wean him from his second nap and it is painful. He is tired by 10 am, but I have to keep him up until 12pm at least so that he will take an afternoon nap and not be crabby all afternoon. He now wakes up with very specific breakfast requests "affles" and "cheese". Yep, he wants waffles and cheese for breakfast. I told some friends about this and they were amazed that I would make waffles everyday--thanks to mrs. eggo. I love to feed him waffles because he can totally feed himself. I gave him oatmeal today and he did great with his spoon for a while and then decided it was just easier to shove it in with his hand.
I have so much I need to do around the house. Douglas took Jackson to the cabin this weekend and I was able to stay home, eat cafe rio, finish painting the kitchen and work on project after project. It was great (I stayed up too late though and I am still paying for it.)
Well, off to through some laundry in. Jackson has been out of pjs for days and has been rewearing his nemo pjs (which he is obsessed with) every night. He is happy, but it is pretty gross.
I have a pork roast in the crockpot and I will make rolls and masked potatas for dinner. yum. A friend wants me to go and scrapbook with her. We will see how that pans out. IT would be fun, but may not fit in.
Hope you all have a fabuloso week.

a little too much nemo??
Well, I went straight from Burley to California to visit my parents. Fun times, although the home body in me wishes I had a little time to recoop in between. None the less, we have had fun here. Just a quick anecdote (did I spell that right--blogger needs spell checker!) from yesterday...
We took J to the beack to swing and play. We walked to the water which he has been deathly afraid of in the past (odd--I think that is the ONLY thing my child is afraid of). There were a lot of birds walking around so we asked him what they were. He replies "bidos" (he gets his letters mixed up a bit when he talks). Then we ask him, what does the bird say?? He replies, "Mine, mine."

off to burley...
we are off to burley idaho to visit douglas' grandparents this weekend. Should be a fun trip minus the eight hours in the car with the munchkin. Now off to get packed. I told douglas I would be ready to go when he gets home at 3 and I am yet to start packing. typical.
