That evening we had a little family party where he opened gifts...a big boy bike, Playmobiles, his very own headlamp, books, and fun. We had our traditional calypso pie as well. He was as happy as a clam!
Grams came over to celebrate with her. J loves having her close by. It is one of his favorite places to go. They always go and leave food for the quail.

(ummm, do I know how to take a decent picture with a point and shoot?? I am beginning to think not.)

Yum! That calypso pie looks heavenly! I love that you get to see your cute Grams all the time too. She is one cute little lady! So fun for your kids to get to know her. They will cherish those memories for sure.
